I'm freezing!

So....Here I am. Sitting at my desk. I've decided that I now have enough time to start updating this thing more often. I'm just sitting at my desk, answering phones, and listening to every single ailment that patients call about. They call about the weirdest things... I once had a lady call for an appointment because she wanted to get rid of her wrinkles....hmmm.... Oh, and this one is a doosey...I actually had a man call in to see his doctor because he hurt his hand. A legitimate reason to want to see your doctor, except when I asked him what had done to his hand, he told me that he was watching tv, and on the show he was watching the guy had a cyst on his hand (which I guess the patient had the same thing on his hand) and to get rid of it, the guy on the tv show slammed a telephone book down on his hand. So this patient, thinking that if it's on tv, of course it has to work, got his wife to take a rather thick phone book, and slam it down on his hand. And his exact words to me and this moment were: "She must've been mad or something, because she hit me really hard with that book, I think she might have broken something!" At this point, I'm sompletely dumbfounded....is this guy SERIOUS!?!?!? I tell ya, nothing but crazy people come to this office. These are my daily frustrations. And to top it all off, I'm freezing. It's like a meat locker in here.
